This is the Official Arrival Day, though we hope many of our participants arrive earlier to take in the beautiful Greater Toronto Area!
Until 6 p.m., Volunteers will be at the airport to assist with transfers to the UWGC 11 Hotel. UP Express, Toronto's express train, will take Participants from the Airport to the Hotel. It's a short 20-30 minute ride. It is a short walk to the Hotel from the UP Express Station through a covered walkway.
From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the UWGC 11 Registration Desk will be open in the Hotel Lobby.
The afternoon is free for our Participants to rest or explore.
Our evening Opening Reception will start at 7 p.m. and will run until 9:30 p.m. This is an opportunity for friendships to be renewed and new friendships to be made. Dress is smart to business casual and many Participants come dressed in their favourite "vyshyvana" shirt. There will be a group photo taken.
1 August 2022
The day will start with a buffet breakfast available from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in our own room at the hotel.
At 6:30 a.m., buses will leave for Angus Glen Golf Club for our Practice Round on the North Course. There will be a post-round lunch at the course before buses take the golf participants back to the hotel.
Non-golf Participants will be offered an excursion or tie on their own.
The evening will be leisure time for all Participants.
2 August 2022
The day will start with a buffet breakfast available from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in our own room at the hotel.
At 6:30 a.m., buses will leave for TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley for our first 2 competition rounds on the Hoot Course and then the North Course. In between rounds, there will be lunch provided at the course. Buses will return to the hotel at approximately 6 p.m.
Non-golf Participants will be offered an excursion or tie on their own.
The evening will be leisure time for all Participants.

The day will start with a buffet breakfast available from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in our own room at the hotel.
This day is a leisure day for everyone. Excursion suggestions include the following:
- Toronto Islands
- Bloor West Village
- St Lawrence Market
- Yorkdale Shopping Centre
- Yorkville
- Theatre District, King West
- Casa Loma
- Harbourfront / CN Tower
- Double decker bus tours
- Canada's Wonderland
- Hockey Hall of Fame
- Day excursion to Muskoka
The evening will be leisure time for all Participants.
4 August 2022
Happy Canada Day! This is Canada's 154th Birthday.
The day will start with a buffet breakfast available from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in our own room at the hotel.
At 6:30 a.m., buses will transfer golf Participants to Niagara Falls' Legend on the Niagara golf course for our next competition round on the Battlefield course.
Non-golf Participants are welcome to come to Niagara at this time or wait for buses that will leave later that morning.
Niagara Falls offers attractions for everyone, including close views of the Canadian and America Falls, zip lines, a tour behind the falls, amusement areas, casinos, butterfly gardens. Everything is within reach by the local WE bus system.
Following golf, we will gather at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Niagara Falls for a Ukrainian feast. Participants will be able to visit the impressive Church, with a carved wood interior.
Buses will return Participants to the hotel. Alternatively, Participants can stay back in Niagara Falls to view the evening fireworks!

The day will start with a buffet breakfast available from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in our own room at the hotel.

The day will start with a buffet breakfast available from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in our own room at the hotel.
At 6:30 a.m., buses will leave for Glen Abbey for our final Competition Round. There will be a post-round lunch at the course before buses take the golf participants back to the hotel.
Non-golf Participants will be offered an excursion or time on their own.
At 6 p.m., we will have our Closing Gala Awards Banquet at the hotel. Winners will be celebrated. You will have a chance to kick up your heels to one Toronto's best zabava bands.
7 August 2022
This is departure day for many of the Participants.
The day will start with a buffet breakfast available from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in our own room at the hotel.
Volunteers will guide Participants to the UP Express Station for the short ride to Toronto's Pearson Airport. We will miss all Participants and look forward to reconnecting at UWGC 12!
